This is a full time 40 hour/week position Monday through Friday.  Job responsibilities include:

·        Participate and assist in employee new hire training, orientation, onboarding and benefits enrollment for a smooth transition into the Agency.

·        Advise employees on matters of policy & procedure, benefits program, and other HR related inquiries.

·        Process bi-weekly payroll including verifying employees’ work hours and payment through the payroll system in the absence of the payroll specialist.

·        Manage and maintain employee database, personnel and payroll files, prepare reports and metrics as needed.

·        Process employee change of status including hiring, transfers, wage changes, and separation.

·        Administrator and be the main contact for inquiries regarding employee benefits programs.

·        Creates employee engagement plans, seeks necessary budget approval and initiates activities.

·        Foster a positive and supportive work environment by serving as key point of contact for employee inquiries and provide administration support, while maintaining confidentiality.

·        Monitor employee morale and company culture. Event planning for employee related functions and meetings.

·        Follows appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances.



QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent preferred but not required; two to four years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience; work experience will be strongly considered.
  • 5 years of Human Resources experiences, preferred in nonprofit social service setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, and knowledge of payroll, and HRIS system
  • SHRM-CP certification preferred
