~Hope for Veterans Program~


4 WEEKS Paid-Time Off!, Birthday Holiday, PLUS MORE! 


Assisting in the management and operations of the Hope for Veterans Program. Supervises and directs employees and ensures that veterans receive high quality care in accordance with Agency policies, procedures, and practices.   

  • Provides support, supervision, and direction to Behavioral Health Counselors and Case Managers including orientation, training, performance evaluation, professional development, and ensures the completion of job responsibilities.
  • Provides clinical support and on-call coverage to employees and veterans for crisis intervention and emergency assistance.
  • Assists Director of Veterans Housing overseeing and ensuring that the program adheres to regulatory, stakeholder, and accreditation standards.
  • Assists the Director of Veteran Services with in-house tours, public speaking engagements and with special events to further promote public awareness of the Program.
  • Participates in program development and initiatives implementation.
  • Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with referral sources and other community agencies. Includes referral sources, case workers, therapists, family members, or other advocates in the recovery process when authorized by a veteran.
  • Participates as a team member in the maintenance, care, and safety of the facility.
  • Ensures accuracy and consistency with Agency fiscal and billing procedures.
  • Documents service delivery accurately and timely.
  • Functions as a team member: covering shifts, facilitating groups, participating in program activities, communicating all relevant information to other team members, and covering co-workers’ duties as needed.
  • Transports veterans, as needed, in agency vehicles in a safe, cautious and responsible manner.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or in a related field. 
  • License required: LAC, LSW, LPC, LCSW, or LCADC
  • Knowledge of veterans’ issues, mental illness, addiction, and homelessness.
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.
